Peperomia Polybotrya Raindrop Coin Leaf Peperomia 25 cm
Peperomia Raindrop (scientific name Peperomia Polybotrya, also sometimes known as Coin Leaf Peperomia) is an adorable houseplant known for its raindrop shaped leaves.
An easy to grow houseplant that is robust and forgiving. Position in a well lit space to see lots of new growth, but copes well in low light too. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings and avoid letting this lovely semi-succulent plant sit in excess water.
Watering: Water when the soil has almost dried out, radiator plants don’t like to be over-watered. Use soft water if possible and water from below. Water is stored in the leaves making these plants drought resistant.
Humidity: Peperomia enjoy raised humidity levels but most of the time they do just fine in normal household conditions.
Light: Peperomia polybotrya are fine in moderate light conditions and will tolerate shade too. Avoid direct sunlight. They do really well under fluorescent lights, making them ideal for the office or basement flat.
Temperature: Average to warm temperatures from 15-24°C but can cope with as low as 10°C at a push. Avoid draughts.
Toxicity: This plant is considered non-toxic and therefore is safe to keep around children and pets.
