Myrtillocactus Geometrizans Crested Blue Flame Dinosaur Back Plant Rare in Terracotta 22 cm
Myrtillocactus Geometrizans it’s commonly known as Crested Blue Flame or Dinosaur Back Plant. Myrtillocactus Geometrizans is a waxy blue cactus that forms a stable architectural crest with subsequent fan-like growth just clustering over one another. This rare Cacti is native to central and northern Mexico where its edible fruit is sold for consumption.
Blooming occurs in late winter and early spring. Flowers are small, white greenish and bear dark red, edible fruits.
Watering: Water is rarely and lightly, and only when the soil is completely dry. If unsure, use soil moisture tester.
Humidity: prefers lower levels of humidity. If your room is humid, remember to water Myrtillocactus less, because plants absorb moisture from air as well as soil.
Light: needs a lot of light. Unfortunately, this cactus won’t tolerate anything less than direct baking sun light. If you don’t get any natural sunlight, make sure you get high intensity LED or grow lights.
Origin: central and northern Mexico
Toxicity: Myrtillocactus are not known to be toxic to humans or pets.
