Euphorbia trigona cv. Royal Red - African milk tree has amzing stems in a lovely marbled burgundy with undulate, reddish burgundy margins and some small burgundy leaves during the active growing season.

This amazing Euphorbia has drop shaped leaves running up its sides and thorns in-between. It is commonly known as The African Milk Tree and hails from West Africa. If you are looking for a statement piece to add to your home then look no further! This guy is perfect for adding that finishing touch to any room!

Light: Prefers bright light. Direct sunlight is ok but take care to ensure this does not scorch the plant.

Water: Allow the soil to dry out before watering. Do not over water. Drought tolerant for short periods.

Temperature: Prefers it reasonably warm, ideally from 15-27°C. Keep out of draughts.

Feed: Apply a half strength dose of liquid fertiliser in the summer.

Care tips: Please note the leaves on these plants are short lived and die off on a regular basis. The plant will generate more from time to time.

Height and Growth Rate: Indoor height 1-2m but very slow growing.

Toxicity: The sap is poisonous and an irritant. Avoid getting into your eyes or mouth and handle with care. Wash off immediately if in contact with skin. Not suitable for children or pets.
