Beaucarnea Recurvata is an evergreen plant with a bushy upright habit and a tropical palm like appearance.

Aptly nicknamed the Ponytail Palm for its unique looking foliage, the plant builds its base from the hardy, bottom-heavy stem, to then eventually shoot off into clusters of long, curly green leaves.

This non toxic, easy to care for plant is a popular choice for beginner and experienced plant lovers alike. It can be easily looked after and add both elegance and a pleasant splash of green into a home or office.

Water: let the soil dry out well between waterings, generally every two weeks. When you do water, saturate the soil until water comes out of the bottom of the pot, and let it drain. Never let it sit in water (this applies to pretty much any houseplant).

Light / Temperature: Ponytail palms prefer full sun or bright, indirect light, with ideal temperatures above 45° F (7° C) at night. Although full sun is best, this forgiving plant can tolerate lower light and will just grow more slowly.

Humidity: As desert natives, ponytail palms don’t need much humidity, but placement near a draft or vent should be avoided as it may dry out the foliage.
